What is the latest time I have to check out on the day of departure?
We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 am.

What do I do with my room card on departure?
Please put the room card in the wooden box at the reception in the lobby.

Where can I park?
The parking spaces on the SIGA premises (100 m below the Guesthouse) are available to you free of charge.

Where can I charge my electric car?
E-cars can be charged free of charge at the charging points in the SIGA car park.


What time is the night's rest?
We kindly ask you to stay in the guesthouse after 22:00.

Where can I find the WLAN password?
 — Please log into the "SIGA-Public" network.
 — The code is: stickwithus!
 — You will also find the code in your room or at the reception desk in the lobby.

Where can I smoke?
Smoking is only allowed outside, in front of the building.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building and at the windows of the rooms.

Where can I rent a bicycle?
Bicycles incl. helmet are available in the garden hut behind the guesthouse.
The garden hut can be opened with the room card.

Can I use the fireplace behind the Guesthouse?
Yes, you can. In the garden hut (to be opened with the room card) there is wood in a large container to light the fire as well as kindling (please do not under any circumstances take wood from the walls of the garden hut).

What are the breakfast hours?
 — Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 08:00 hrs.
 — Sat./Sun.: 07:30 – 09:00 a.m.
 — times may vary during events/customer workshops

Where can I get something hot to drink?
The coffee machine in the breakfast room on the ground floor is available for tea and coffee 24h free of charge.

How can I pay at the drinks and goods vending machine in the lobby?
 — The vending machine accepts CHF and Euro (max. 20 Euro note).
 — Change will be given in CHF.

I need a razor or a toothbrush. Can I get one from you?
 — You will find one in our drinks and vending machine in the lobby.
 — The vending machine accepts CHF and Euro (max. 20 Euro note).
 — Change is given in CHF.

Where can I wash and dry my private laundry?
In the basement of the guesthouse (stairs behind the guesthouse) there is a washing machine with tumbler (detergent available).
If there is a washing machine, you can open the door with the washing machine, otherwise ask the guesthouse staff.

How do I get CHF?
There are various cash machines in the centre of Ruswil.
All machines accept foreign cards.

I have lost my room card. What should I do?
A new room card can be issued at the check-in machine using the reservation number.
If you do not know your reservation number, please contact your SIGA contact person or call the emergency number: +41 79 221 66 75

I have lost something or forgotten something in my room - what now?
We do not accept any liability for items left behind. Your lost property can be sent to you on request. Please contact us by e-mail at

What do I do in case of fire?
 — Alert the fire brigade: Activate the fire alarm or call 118.
 — Keep calm.
— Leave the guesthouse immediately and go to the assembly point. This is located below the guesthouse in the large car park.
